Coate Water Country Park

An easy 4.4 mile route through Swindon's Coate Water Country Park, up the helter skelter over the M4 and onto the trackbed of the Swindon to Marlborough Railway. Just before entering the residential area of Chisledon, you will turn and head back along the same route.
The route then heads down past the Rangers' Office /Information Centre, up on a dirt track to a miniature railway, open Sundays. You will pass play areas, wildlife and lovely scenery. Once you leave the park, you will join the Sustran Cycle Network path 45 which is tarmac.

There is an option to Continue through Chiseldon and have a coffee stop at the Three Trees Cafe if all who go on the ride agree.
