We will meet outside the visitor centre.

Join us for a 9 mile ride from Whinlatter. This is the ride for you if you like the challenge of a hill and want to improve your fitness. We will be challenging ourselves against the hills at Whinlatter. This ride is mostly on forest roads though there are a couple of short sections of blue singletrack. This ride is not all uphill though. Once we have conquered the hill we will have the fun of the descent.
We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. The aim of the ride is to have a fun sociable ride in the company of other women, build up confidence in our riding in a supportive group environment, as well ask questions about bikes and riding, and make links with others.
Remember to wear clothes that are comfortable to cycle in and suitable for the weather conditions. It is a good idea to bring a spare inner tube, a waterproof jacket, a snack and a bottle of water. We always recommend that you wear a cycle helmet.
If you have any questions about this ride then you can e mail us at [email protected] or see our Facebook pages for more information:
