This is a hilly route on busy roads. It is ridden at an average pace of 10-12mph and aimed at regular, experienced riders.
We'll leave the car park and travel up Newbrook Road and on towards Horwich. We'll have a break for refreshments at Middlebrook before heading back home.
Please bring a spare inner tube or puncture repair kit and dress to suit the weather as it cools down quite a lot from beginning to end of the ride. It's usually dark on our return so please ensure you have good, working lights on your bike, and high viz is also a good idea.
