Outside the Echo Arena by the wooden bridge under the Big Wheel

Join our Guided Ride Leaders to discover an extra special part of your city by bike. This 6 mile route will last no longer than one hour so once completed you can enjoy the HSBC UK City Ride. Sign up to this Discovery Ride for a small taste of what’s on offer for Liverpool’s Guided Rides programme this year.

There are lots to see in this gentle ride along the world-famous Liverpool waterfront. Starting by Duke's Dock, the ride passes Merseyside landmarks such as the Echo Arena and the expansive Cammel Laird shipyard across the water. At the half-way mark you’ll tour through the magnificent Festival Gardens, admiring all the flora and sights it has to offer before returning back down the River Mersey to the HSBC UK City Ride Hub at Albert Dock where you'll be able to explore more of this beautiful city by bike.
