Starting at Grove Ferry we will cycle to Sandwich via Staple and return via Richborough. It is a lovely countryside route although there will be times when we will be riding on roads with moderate traffic. The total distance is ~22 miles and we will stop in Sandwich at the Beach Hut Cafe for refreshments. You need to be able to cycle the planned distance and to be confident on roads with moderate traffic in order to participate. This ride is not suitable for new riders or riders who have yet to cycle more than 20 miles. The ride is mostly flat with some undulations.

Please remember a drink and money for parking. Helmets are compulsory and you must bring a spare inner tube and tools to remove your wheel. There are no bike mechanics on this ride so if you are unable to change a punctured tyre then please arrange for back up support to come out and rescue you.
