I do love to be beside the Seaside

We stay by the sea following the route into Blackpool passing Blackpool Airport, the Pleasure Beach and the infamous "Big One". We turn right at Central Pier towards Stanley Park and Blackpool Zoo before leaving the town behind on our way through open countryside to Staining and Singleton. From here we wind our way through the settlements of Elswick, Warles, Treales and Kirkham before the last 10 miles into Lytham.

This route includes well known Blackpool attractions, quiet country roads and a ride up the coast through Lytham.

The ride is a mixture of roads, promenade cycleways and quiet country roads.

We will stop for lunch/snack at a supermarket restaurant in Kirkham. Riders are welcome to bring their own food, if preferred.

Our members wear helmets on all rides. It is preferred that guests do the same.
