A delightful ride from the Cockermouth High School and going east from the North Cumbrian market town of Cockermouth towards Bassenthwaite Lake and Skiddaw - England's fourth highest peak.

There are toilets and a cafe stop available about half way round at the lakes Distillery but this route is aimed at people wanting to get back into cycling and who already have a decent level of fitness. However we will ride as a group. There will be a discussion at the end about what people's cycling goals for the New Year will be. To date attendance has been low but this means there is an excellent opportunity for a people to start cycling again in a small group or in duo with an experienced guide.
