About the route
This is regular mountain-bike ride that's been going for years. There's usually about 10 of us. Different route each week. We do 30-40km off road. You'll need a mountain-bike; there's nothing very technical but hybrid/road bikes won't cut it. Pace can vary a lot - sometimes leisurely, sometimes not-so-much. ;-)
