This circular ride will beginning at the Active Dacorum Hub car park Taking a road route we will slowly winding down into the valley of Hemel Hempstead and through the park to the walled garden. The local horticulturalists have been working hard over the last few weeks to create a wonderful flower display, to mark the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth ll. Weather permitting we will enjoy a coffee/drink from the cafe in the park, if you would like to bring some cake to share with your fellow riders to celebrate the Jubilee please feel free to do so. There will be a few hills on this ride but as always walking them is always an option. As leaders we will ensure that no one is left behind, so that all of the group can have an enjoyable ride . We will be riding at the pace of the slowest rider approx. 7-9 mph, maybe a little slower up hill.
If you have any questions please message Kathy on 07547914328

Please remember to bring,
Two spare inner tubes for your bike, even if you do not know how to change them, someone in the group will, as well as the appropriate tools ( tyre levers)
A water bottle with a drink in, riding can be very thirsty work.
Cycle helmet, for your own safety.
Appropriate clothing for the weather
As we will be riding on the road please consider adding lights to your bike and wearing high vis clothing to assist other road users to see you.
Money for your cake and drink.

First-timers welcome!

This ride would suit newer riders, who would like the experience of descend/ascending slightly more challenging hills.

We will be riding on mainly quiet road and some shared cycle paths.

During our ride we will be stopping at a local garden center for coffee/cake and a chat about future rides that you might like to undertake.

We never leave anyone behind
