Join us for a leisurely bike ride around the roads and lanes of South Lakeland either towards Grange, Sedbergh, Silverdale or Staveley. The routes for the Blue B Group are approximately 25-35 miles long with an average speed of around 10-13 mph on the flat. There are some lovely views to take in on our rides. There will be a chance to get some refreshments at The Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal at the end of the ride and meet other members of the club. The ride is part of the Kendal Cycle Club weekly club ride, you are welcome to join 1 ride as a non-member. If this is your first ride with Kendal Cycle Club please visit our website and take a look at the details for new members: http://kendal.cc/saturday-club-ride/. Accompanied children aged 12 and above are welcome on this ride. If you're planning to bring children along with you on the ride please take a look at our website: http://kendal.cc/saturday-club-ride/. We look forward to seeing you! We look forward to seeing you on a ride soon!

Most of the route is on quiet country roads, with several hills (but not too steep).

There are wonderful views along the way which we can stop and admire. There will be a chance to get some refreshments and meet other members of the club at the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal at the end of the ride.

Remember to wear clothes that are comfortable to cycle in. It is a good idea to bring a waterproof jacket and a bottle of water. We always recommend that you wear a cycle helmet and carry a spare inner tube and a basic toolkit for punctures. Please bring some money if you wish to buy refreshments.

First-timers welcome!
