Kings Worthy-Leckford Loop

This is a challenging ride for experienced cyclists or those wishing to take the next step and extend their riding distance/pace. The overall distance is just under 25 miles and we will be averaging 12-13mph, so you must be confident that you can maintain this pace over the distance and that you have a suitable road bicycle. This will be a great opportunity for you to have a go at something that might be a little faster or further than you may be used to.

We will be stopping for a drink and cake at the Little Kitchen Bistro at Winchester Golf Academy on the way back to Kings Worthy, which is just over 21 miles into the ride, so bring something to eat and drink along the way if you need it. As always, don't forget to bring the following essentials: clothing appropriate for the weather; puncture repair kit; spare inner tube(s); pump or gas cartridge. NB: Although the suitability states that children of all ages are welcome, this is an error and I am unable to change it. As this is a challenging ride suitable for experienced cyclists, children between the ages of 11-16 are welcome accompanied by a parent or responsible adult, as long as they are able to keep up the pace and have an appropriate bicycle.
