Get some fresh air and meet some new people by joining this gentle canal ride to Auchinstarry Marina.
Alongside the Forth and Clyde Canal with lovely views of the surrounding countryside and Campsie Fells.
Completely traffic-free with exception of a very short road section to reach The Boathouse. Some parts of the canal path are a little rough so it's probably best not to use v narrow road tryres.
We'll stop at the halfway point for refreshments, with the option of a hot drink at The Boathouse.
Wear comfortable clothes that will suit the weather conditions. It's advisable to wear a helmet, bring a bottle of water and a small amount of cash (in case we have a coffee stop).
