From Leggers we will start out along the Calder & Hebble Navigation and then go through the Rectory Park to Thornhill.
From there it’s down Judy Haig Lane to Overton, Denby Grange, HMP New Hall, Grange Moor, Falhouse Green and Whitley.
From Whitley it will be straight down through the golf course then back to Leggers.
Please be aware there are hills along the way but nobody will be left behind.

This Sunday’s ride will leave the Leggers Inn and take in the villages of Thornhill, Overton, Grange Moor, Falhouse Green and Whitley.

We will travel along a combination of greenways, towpaths and tarmac roads. We will encounter a reasonable amount of traffic on the tarmac sections so riders will need to be confident in those situations. Mountain bikes or hybrids with off-road tyres are more suited to this ride. Road tyres will struggle in places.

Helmets are mandatory on all Kirklees Riders rides. All riders must carry a spare inner tube suitable the bike they are riding.
