Kirklees Riders - Luddite and Brontë trail.

From the leggers along Spen greenway and the ringway to Rawfolds, up Primrose lane to rejoin Spen greenway as far as the coffee counter, up Halifax road to Windy bank. Past Heartshead church and then through the village, down the hill to Dumb steeple (three nuns give or take), then back along the bottom of the Calder valley to Dewsbury.

Taking in various sites of interest relating to the Luddites and the Brontë family.

Mainly on road but nothing too much in the way of heavy traffic. Shared pavement where the traffic could be a little unnerving for novice riders. One short section on a dirt track.
