Kiveton Park Station to Retford

Mainly off road using Chesterfield Canal, a few lanes and Bridleways through the Osberton and Scofton estates.

Best suited to a MTB as the canal tow path after Worksop is bumpy in places and can be slippy. It requires a lot of concentration - but you might be rewarded with the flash of a Kingfisher. Strava calls one of the segments "Destroyer of Asses".

We will stop for lunch in Retford at either the Wetherspoons (other cafes are available). If needed we can stop for a quick drink / comfort break at Costa in Worksop, or if we make good time we might get chance to call at Netherthorpe Airfield for a cuppa.

Helmets. Spare inner tubes and the means to repair your bike / puncture etc.. Lock. Money for lunch/stops. Lights in case we're not back before it goes dark.
