Brockhole Nature Reserve

Starting at the Frenchwood Car Park off Esplanade on the outskirts of Avenham Park, Preston and not Brockholes Nature Reserve as previously stated: the route along the river will take us to one of Lancashire's newest nature reserves, Brockholes;the pleasant surroundings can be explored post-ride. After a strenuous short climb through the woods, the route takes you to the north east of Preston into the leafy quiet lanes including the town of Longridge and the ARGH villages (GoosnARGH, CumerAGH & GrimsARGH). There will be a cake and coffee stop at the Little Town Dairy were participants can enjoy the delights of the farm shop and on-site cafe.
