LCH: BREEZE TURNS 10 - Leavesden to Watford Cycle Hub Ride No. 11 of 17

June will see HSBC UK Breeze turn 10 and we want to celebrate the success of the programme in Hertfordshire with a Relay linking all 10 Districts in the County. We would love you to join in and celebrate with us. This ride is open to individuals identifying as female and will be led by a female Breeze Champion. The ride is suitable for those confident in riding a bike but there is no fitness requirement. These will be steady and social rides where no one gets left behind. This is a 13 mile route from Leavesden Cycle Hub in Leavesden Park to Watford Cycle Hub before returning back to Leavesden. We'll be riding mostly quiet roads and cycle paths, with a chance to visit the very pretty Cheslyn Gardens on the way. Participants will require their own bike. Please dress appropriately for the predicted weather conditions. In view of COVID-19 we will be taking the following regulations into account with our ride leading and we will follow all local govt. guidelines. Please note the following: • We will not share any equipment so please bring your own drink and hand sanitiser, as well as a spare inner tube and tools that fit your bike.  • You should pay particular attention to your bike being in good working order before attending a ride so as to minimise risks and disruption to rides. • At arrival at the start location, and when stopping in a group please keep to social distancing regulations of 2m. • We will ride taking social distancing into account. • Participants must not attend a ride if they have COVID-19 symptoms, have been in contact with anyone with symptoms or have been told to self-isolate.
