Singleton campus to Rhossili via Hillend.
The route starts with the Clyne Valley railway Path, leaving at Dunvant to climb the first steep hill to the highest point on the ride at Three Crosses. The next stage follows Cilonnen Road, a quiet single lane road with some rough surfaces, to join the North Gower Road at Llanrhidian, and continuing to Llangennith and Hillend
There is no road between Hillend and Rhossili, so we will walk along the bridle path parallel to the beach for about 4km - some parts are suitable for cycling in line with the British Cycling guidance for on-road rides, other parts are not.
We will have a break in Rhossili before returning to Swansea on the South Gower Road, turning at Pennard to cycle through Kittle, Clyne Common, and the Mayals to join the Mumbles road at Blackpill.
We never leave anyone behind: the length of the route (60km) and the several steep hills (around 800 m ascent) means that the route is suitable only for regular riders, but we will take our time, stay together, and ride a comfortable pace for everyone.
