Family Bike Ride Series
This ride is the second Family Bike Ride in the series that takes place every first Sunday of the month at various locations across the city. These rides are led by qualified Ride Leaders who will support you throughout the ride.

Route
This is a traffic free route perfect for beginners and less confident cyclists.

Registration
Please ensure you arrive at 9.45am to allow for registration, the cycle will leave at 10am.

You must register prior to the event – this will allow us to make sure we provide enough volunteers on the day. If you are unable to make the event for any reason, please cancel your place on the Lets Ride website so someone else can take your place/s.

What do I Need?
You will need to bring your own bike/s, however discounted bike hire is available on the day from Plymouth Bike Hire. Please check they are in good working order before the day of the event i.e. brakes, gears. Please make sure you bring multiple layers of clothing as it will be chilly, plus a drink and a small snack for the children!

Helmets
It is compulsory that everyone wears a helmet on this ride to ensure your safety.

Children
All children aged between 5 and 15 years must be registered and accompanied by a parent or guardian. Adults wishing to bring along children under 5 years may do so providing they are secured in a BS standard child seat or trailer. Children can be booked in via the Lets Ride website as an ‘Additional Rider’. If you are struggling to find this button please email me the number of children you are looking to bring so we have a rough idea of numbers on the day ([email protected]).No adult may accompany more than four children on any ride and the registration system reflects this. This adult is fully responsible for these children for the duration of the ride.

Use of information
British Cycling will use the information you give us for administration and research purposes in the delivery of these rides. This may include contacting you by email or SMS with reminders or information about your chosen rides. The Sports Development Unit will also collect additional personal information on the day.

Need more information?
If you have any other questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact Hayley from the Sports Development Unit on [email protected] or call 01752 307008.
