This is a family friendly flat ride to be taken at an easy pace. . It takes us from outside the Swindon 105.5 Radio Station in Liden to Roves Farm and Back via sections of the Dorcan Round to Covingham and then over the White Hart Cycle Bridge and then over a bumpy but easily rideable track till we reach Nightingale Woods in S Marston. We will complete half a circuit of the woods before briefly stopping at Roves farm for Refreshments and then retracing our tyre tracks back to Liden

We will ride mainly on traffic free paths and trails, just a short section on a quiet road.

We will stop at Roves Farm. To be fair to them please do not consume your own food or drink whilst there. They have delicious cakes and other snacks and last time I went were taking card payments only.

Don’t forget a full water bottle with your favourite thirst quencher. Govt Guidance means face masks are no longer mandatory but we would ask you to bring a face mask as some venues may request it and also first aid may be required. For all our rides you should bring at least a spare inner tube and a pump. If your wheels are bolted-on then a spanner that fits the wheel nuts is also essential. Helmets are not compulsory but most definitely recommended. You should dress appropriately for the weather, and consider bringing your mobile phone along with your debit card for the coffee stop.

First-timers welcome!
