Liverpool Chester Liverpool

This is the Liverpool Chester Liverpool 50 mile charity bike ride. To take part you must have registered with LCL and paid the appropriate fees.
As the tunnel is being opened at 1300 it is my intention to be finished before this time. In order to do this it will mean setting off at around 7.15 am. this means that the meet up point will be the Hillsborough memorial oposite the tunnel entrance at 07.00 am.
We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together. We will do our usual stops at Parkgate and the Rugby club and a shorter stop at Chester.
Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group!
Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, helmet & lights checked and ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock.
