Livia to Greenmount with extras

Our mostly off road route takes us from Livia Park in Salford where we briefly follow the River Irwell then ride into Radcliffe where we pick up the Manchester Bolton and Bury Canal passing Elton Reservoir into Bury and visit the Bury Bolton Street Railway Station hopefully to see a steam train or two while having a quick drink at the platform located pub. We then again follow the river Irwell to Burrs Country Park for a short circuit passing the giant mouse trap before venturing up to Greenmount. Our return takes us over the Meccano bridge at Nob End and past the Gruffalo at Clifton Marina.
