*THIS IS A BREEZE RIDE, SO FOR WOMEN ONLY*

We will meet at Llanrhystud Beach, cycling back up the beach road, turning left towards Pengarreg Caravan Park, then following the very short track to reach the church (if this is very muddy then we will get off and push here) and stopping at the main road, walking our bikes across safely in a group.

We then cycle along the B4337 for half a mile, past Penrhos Park turn off, then turning left to follow Cwm Mabws, turning around when we reach the steep hill (we'll save that for another day!) A very scenic stretch following the river Wyre Fach.

We'll go back the same way, except we'll do a slight detour down to Pengarreg Beach before heading down back to the starting point.

A nice flat route, we will stick together as a group. The idea of this ride is to gain confidence riding your bike, and we will be supporting each other, stopping for a breather when we need to. Speed is not the focus :-) I stay at the back of the group, making sure everyone is happy. Nice and relaxed pace, perfect if you haven't been on your bike for a while, or want to start cycling.

Helmets Essential and I always advise bright clothing and a front and rear light when cycling on the road. Please also bring a spare inner tube.

E-bikes welcome

This ride is NOT suitable for a road bike with skinny tyres, you really need a hybrid or mountain bike.
