Long Meander In The West

The first ride created for the West Lancs Weekday Riders. We start at the Farmers Arms in Burscough before heading out towards Bispham Green and Mawdesley swinging down towards Croston and then out to Midge Hall and then into Longton.
We then ride back via Much Hoole, Bretheton, Croston and Rufford to the Farmers Arms. I hope you will join me for a post ride refreshment.
We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 14 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together.
Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group!
Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, helmet & lights checked and ready.
Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock.
It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
Please be at the start point at least 15 mins before the ride start time, ready to ride, so that we are able to get away at the stated start time of 10.05
