Lovely quiet country lane a tow path ride with a refreshment stop at cafe Bleu at Fishlake

Come and join us for an easy paced cycle in the beautiful countryside. We will ride out from Barnby Dun towards Bramwith along country lanes, then on to Braithwaite where we join the canal for a section on the tow path before more country lanes to Fishlake. Build up your confidence on your bike on a friendly ride led by volunteer Breeze champions who will do their utmost to ensure you have an enjoyable ride. So that the ride goes smoothly please check your bike over before you set out and pump your tyres up to the recommended pressure. It's a good idea to get in the habit of doing a quick check before every ride. Please make sure you have the following: A bike in good working order A puncture repair kit - spare inner tube, pump and tyre levers (if you get a puncture we'll help you but you need to bring the kit to fix it) Comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for cycling and changes in the weather (layers are good) A helmet Water/a drink and maybe a snack for en route. We will be going at a pace that's comfortable for everyone, so no one will get left behind and there will be a Breeze champion at the front and back of the group. We will go through some guidelines before we start, but the important basics are to take responsibility for yourself, look out for and support other riders and enjoy a good chat in the great British outdoors!
