This ride is run in association with Mid Devon Cycling Club. Stepping Stones are rides to act as a transition from Breeze rides to club social rides and are for Breeze riders who want a bit of a challenge.

You don't need to be a member of the club for the first couple of rides so come along and see what you think.

This ride is 30 miles, to include the midway coffee stop

It is hilly so you need a road bike or a light hybrid with road tyres for this one, but you will be looked after all the way.

It’s 31 miles, following the Dartmoor Classic Piccolo route.

It is hilly so you need a road bike or a light hybrid with road tyres for this one, but you will be looked after all the way and we will do lots of stops.

We will be stopping for our café break at Central Café in Moretonhampstead.

Please wear clothes appropriate for the weather, and bring a drink and a spare inner tube with you. Please also bring a bike lock, if you have one, and money for the café.

Don’t be put off by the large amount of racy looking cyclists at the start. MDCC is a very big club with eight different rides on a Sunday - just arrive at least 10 minutes early and ask to be directed to the Breeze Ride
.
Although there is a car park at the start, please be aware that there is a height barrier for those of you with a bike on top of the car.
