Come and join one of our Sunday social rides organised by Mid Devon Cycling Club. We’re a friendly bunch.

Distance is approximately 30 miles with a café stop mid route. Average speed is approximately 10-12mph.

Routes are usually hilly so a road bike or hybrid with road tyres please.

John is your leader for this one to Powderham. I'm sure he's got a lovely route up his sleeve.

Please bring a drink with you, a spare tube, just in case, and a bike lock and money for the café. Please also dress in accordance with weather conditions.

There is no need to be a member for the first two rides. Just come along and see how you like it. I’m sure you will.

Don’t be put off by the large amount of racy looking cyclists at the start. MDCC is a very big club with seven different rides on a Sunday, just arrive at least 10 minutes early, ask to be directed to the Social Ride and then introduce yourself to the ride leader.

Although there is a car park at the start, please be aware that there is a height barrier for those of you with a bike on top of the car.

If parking on the nearby housing estate, please be considerate to local residents. We don’t want to be disturbing their Sunday morning lie-ins.

All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and be capable of cycling 30 miles at 10mph

For further details please contact Mike or Michele Radant on 01803 664061

Please note that destination and ride leaders may vary from advertised

A series of Sunday morning 30 mile circular rides through country lanes with a midway coffee and cake stop.

Mainly quiet country roads

There's always a midway café stop for coffee, cake and chatting - lots of chatting!

Weather suitable clothing, at least one spare inner tube, a drink and money for the café stop.
