Come and join one of our Sunday social rides organised by Mid Devon Cycling Club. We’re a friendly bunch.
Time to burn off a few of those Christmas calories by riding with Michele to the Haldon Grill, where we can then ruin the good work by eating some of their wonderful home made cakes. Their christmas cake is heavenly!
Distance is approximately 30 miles with a café stop mid route. Average speed is approximately 10-12mph.
Routes are usually hilly so a road bike or hybrid with road tyres please.
Please bring a drink with you, a spare tube, just in case, and a bike lock and money for the café. Please also dress in accordance with weather conditions.
There is no need to be a member for the first two rides. Just come along and see how you like it. I’m sure you will.
Don’t be put off by the large amount of racy looking cyclists at the start. MDCC is a very big club with seven different rides on a Sunday, just arrive at least 10 minutes early, ask to be directed to the Social Ride and then introduce yourself to the ride leader.
There is no parking or toilets at the start so please find suitable off road parking and ride to the start. Please be considerate to local residents, if parking near housing. We don’t want to be disturbing their Sunday morning lie-ins.
All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and be capable of cycling 30 miles at 10mph
For further details please contact Mike or Michele Radant on 01803 664061
