Mellow Yellow Coffee Morning Ride Round the Villages

A great ride to get you back out on your bike - no pressure, chatty social cycling for everyone whether you've just not cycled for a while or you're completely new.

Starting at Burton Stather Playing Fields we’ll head to Normanby, Thealby, Coleby, West Halton then Alkborough where we will stop for a drink and snack at The Paddocks Tea Rooms, leaving about 3 miles back to Burton to complete the route.

We will be on reasonably quiet roads. This ride is about getting out on your bike and having a steady chatty social ride with the emphasis on enjoyable cycling. Its suitable for everyone and we will ride at the speed of the slowest rider. No one is ever left behind.

We'll be stopping at the Paddocks in Alkborough for a cuppa. This is CASH ONLY so please bring some money with you.

Please make sure your bike is in a roadworthy condition and bring a pump and spare inner tube plus a drink or snack. Helmets are compulsory on this ride. Covid-19 information Please do not attend if you have been advised to self isolate or feel unwell, have a high temperature, new persistent cough or have lost your sense of taste and/or smell. Please also bring a face covering to use if needed. British Cycling guidelines for Covid 19 will be followed at all times.
