Route rating
(0) ReviewsA gentle there and back ride, 15 miles, pan flat, suitable for beginners, returners or anyone just wanting a relaxing morning in good company with a coffee stop. We would hope to average 9mph but we always go at the speed of the slowest and no one is left behind.
The route is all tarmac suitable for road bikes, hybrids, mountain bikes etc. Electric power is ok too.
We will take a refreshment stop at the cafe at Messingham Zoo. But happy to stop if anyone needs a breather.
Helmets are advised and essential for under 16s, who should be under the control of a responsible adult at all times. The ride is not suitable for under 10s. Please bring a spare inner tube that fits your bike and a pump (but if thats a problem let me know beforehand - we can sort something out) Also bring money or cards for the coffee stop and a face covering for emergencies - not for wearing while riding! If you are suffering from Covid symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who has please do not come on the ride.
First-timers welcome!
