Melrose, Bogley Burn, Karen's and home via Maxton, Longnewton and Standhill

A lovely cycle on country roads, with the compulsory coffee stop. Covid 19 At all points the ride will adhere to Scottish government guidelines (24/8/2020) with respect to Covid 19. Please do not leave your home to participate in this ride if you or anyone else in your household is displaying symptoms of Covid 19. Physical 2 metre distancing will be practiced as much as possible during the ride. As face coverings are mandatory in shops and public buildings participants should bring their own on the ride.

We will leave Denholm and head for Melrose via Lilliesleaf. We then cross over Melrose bypass and over the Bogley Burn to Karen's Tearoom. After refreshments we head to St Boswells and on to Maxton. We head to Longnewton by crossing over the A68, taking the Standhill road to return to Denholm.

Please remember to check you bike is in working order and bring all the usual essentials, helmet, appropriate clothing and footwear, lights and pennies for coffee and cake.
