Starting point

West Yorkshire
LS26 9JA

This is an off road, traffic free scenic route starting on route 697 of the national cycleway and crossing over Caroline Bridge onto the outskirts of St. Aidan's nature reserve. From there we head into the reserve itself where we follow Lowther Lake and ride past Bowers Lake towards the main Oddball entrance.
We then ride around the ings past Lemonroyd Lake and out onto Shan House bridge where we rejoin route 697 back towards our start point.
This is a short, peaceful mainly flat route which offers riders the opportunity to observe local wildlife and is perfect for beginners and for those wishing to build their confidence on a bike.
