The rides take place on (mainly) flat cycle paths around Glasgow Green. Most of the rides follow the River Clyde, and often involve a tea/cake break in a cafe somewhere along the route. On average, the distance is only a few miles. The rides are at a leisurely pace, so that no-one feels left behind. They are not for complete beginners, but to give confidence to women returning to cycling, and we'll teach you some skills -e.g. correct use of gears. If you want to hire equipment we ask that you be here in plenty time, and also for a £1 donation for bike maintenance. Above all, the rides are great fun-- and sociable!! Make 2018 the year you take up cycling again.
