From Montague Park, we'll head up Oak Avenue, then ride over to Binfield (possibly using Monks Alley if not too muddy), then take Ryehurst Lane to Moss End and follow some pretty country lanes to Warfield Church then onwards to Winkfield. Our coffee stop is after 10 miles, at the Honesty Cafe,at Tally Ho farm/tack shop, which serves hot drinks and home made cakes/biscuits, etc. We will then return on roads to Warfield, ride through Woodhurst Park and up Jocks Lane to Binfield, then walk our bikes across the bridge over Berkshire Way. Finally, we will ride through Jennett's Park, part of the grounds of Easthampstead Park hotel and cross the road to return to Montague Park via the new bridge.

PLEASE NOTE: later than usual start time from Montague Park (9.45) If anyone wants to cycle from Crowthorne, I can meet you at St Sebastian's Memorial Hall, RG40 3BA at 9.15 (at the junction of Honey Hill and Nine Mile Ride.) The level crossing at Easthampstead Road is not open to vehicles this week but we should be able to walk (or ride?) across.

To avoid unnecessary delays, please check the night before that your tyres are correctly inflated (makes it easier!) both brakes working, and chain oiled. Cycle helmets are compulsory. Please also bring a bottle of water, a spare inner tube to fit your own tyres and a pump and bike lock if you have one. For the coffee stop, please bring cash or card for drink payment.

First-timers welcome!
