Morden Hall Park via Waddon Ponds

This ride takes us to Morden Hall Park via Waddon ponds. We will take a route to the source of the Wandle. To start with it would not win any awards for scenery, but it is on relatively quiet roads although you should be aware that we will still have to negotiate occasional busy roads and junctions. You Must be able to use gears on this ride.
Once we reach Wandle park, the ride becomes more attractive as we begin to follow the NCN20, aka the Wandle trail until we reach Morden Hall Park, where we will have a coffee/lunch stop at the Potting Shed cafe.
The ride continues north along the Wandle trail; at this point we have a choice of routes to Clapham which we can decide on the day. From Clapham, we make our way home through Brixton, Herne Hill, Dulwich, Peckham and Ladywell.
You must be able to maintain a steady pace in order to keep to the timings posted in the information. Due to the distance and the potential for busy roads, you must be a relatively fit and confident cyclist in urban conditions. This is not a ride for beginners.
This is a longer than usual ride, so you will need plenty of stamina.
