Starting point

Greater Manchester
WA14 5DX

Our ride takes us on a circular route from Altrincham along the Bridgewater Canal and the Trans Pennine Trail, around the picturesque Lymm Dam before joining quiet Cheshire lanes. We skirt west of Tatton Park using a rarely ridden route to reach our proposed lunch stop at the Romper pub at Ringway, close to Manchester airport. After lunch we return to the start point via the unique Brooks Drive.

Parts of this route can be muddy and rough, so hybrid bikes or mountain bikes are suitable.
