We will ride out from Horbury behind the golf course, around Thornes Park, up Dewbury Rd, down Broadway and back to the Cluntergate centre (sorry for the lack of a route map - the technology is still letting me down!)

The first part of the route will be off road on a tarmac path and then back along the roads. Please be aware that Dewsbury Rd can get busy at times (although shouldn't be too busy at this time of night).

No planned stops

Helmets are essential. Lights recommended. Please read our Covid guidelines: Comets Social Distance Breeze Guidelines Before the ride: • Please do not attend a ride or session if you have Covid-19 symptoms, if someone in your household does and are in the extremely vulnerable category or if you have been asked to remain at home by the UK Government track and trace system. • Please book online, providing relevant personal details, contacts and consent, at the Let's Ride website before the ride. • Group sizes are a maximum of six people; this currently includes leaders due to government guidelines. During the ride: • Please practice good respiratory hygiene at all times (i.e. coughing, sneezing into a tissue or the crook of an elbow). • Maintain social distancing by keeping 2 metres away from anyone not in your household, while riding, during stops and at pinch points such as narrow entrances and gates. • You must provide your own equipment and refreshments, if needed, and avoid sharing the like of water bottles and food; this includes bringing basic maintenance equipment, such as a spare inner tube and pump. • Exercise within your personal physical and technical limitations to try and avoid additional burden on the NHS and the first aiders present. • Face coverings are not required as we will be social distancing. After the ride: • Please wash/sanitise your hands after the session. • Please ensure that you disperse as quickly as possible, while continuing to maintain social distancing. • Any participant developing symptoms after a session should notify the Breeze Leader, as soon as possible, so that other members of the group can be advised and all should refer to the latest NHS advice.
