This is an easy ride along the canal towpath from Wigan Pier to Parbold and then return. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A SHORT SECTION THAT CAN GET VERY MUDDY IF WE HAVE HAD A LOT OF RAIN

This ride is very flat taking the sights of the Leeds Liverpool Canal in along the way with a mid way point arriving at Parbold. This ride is suitable for off road bikes and hybrid with off road tyres.
The total ride is approximately 15 miles.
Bring some money if you would like to stop for a drink midway and at the end.
It is advisable to bring a spare inner tube just in case and a drink for along the way.
