A varied route over to Preston along the canal and passing through lots of parks to see the Wallace and Gromit statue.

Much of the route is traffic free as we will be cycling along the canal tow path, through parks , designated cycle paths and the old tram road near Preston. There are a few roads as well.

We will stop at the cafe in Hurst Grange Park, Penwortham.

Please wear a helmet, as without one you will not be able to join the ride. Bring spare inner tubes, tyre lever and pump to fix any punctures, snacks and drinks as this is a long ride and payment method for the cafe. Have a plan to get home should you have a mechanical breakdown.
