Starting point

Greater Manchester
M14 6LA

This is a really enjoyable evening ride along a converted railway track from one of Manchester's premier parks to the Gorton reservoirs which are fed from the Lake District. The route is mainly off road so allows for a laid back pace.

This is an simple ride leading from Platt Fields along the Fallowfield Loop to Gorton Upper and Lower Reservoirs

We will be mainly on tarmac tracks with some short sections on quiet roads. However there is one section of gravel track which includes some potholes.

We will have a short stop halfway please ring any refreshments with you.

Please ensure you are self sufficient with a spare inner tube and tools. The wearing of a helmet is recommended
