YO42 2QB

This will be the last week of evening rides due to the failing light. It is a nice gentle flat ride .
We head out of Pocklington Rugby Club through town and onto the cycle path past the Gliding Club to the roundabout. Here we cross over the A1079 at the designated crossing and head down to Allerthorpe. Once past the golf club we take the next right turn and on to Thornton. Here we turn left down Church Lane on a lovely little lane crossing over Pocklington Canal -the only hill- to the outskirts of Melbourne. We turn left and then follow the road all the way back retracing our steps to the rugby club.
Look forward to seeing you there

A nice flat circular route apart from going over the canal. round our villages
