About the route
The iconic poppy sculpture Wave, is part of the UK-wide tour organised by 14-18 NOW, the UK’s arts programme for the First World War centenary.
We will cycle through Saltram towards the Barbican following the coastal route up to The Hoe to visit the exhibition. From there, we will cycle for a short stop for refreshments at Captain Jaspers before returning to Marsh Mills via a shorter route.
This route will include on and off road sections on dedicated cycle paths & routes. Could everyone please have working lights as the latter part of the ride will be darker. All participants will be expected to carry a spare inner tube suitable for your bike and to wear a helmet.
