About the route
Starting outside Evans Cycles at the NCC, the route will take us along the Ashton canal through to Portland Basin in Ashton.
There are several cobbled climbs (lockside) on this route, so I would advise to ride a hybrid or MTB, though it is possible to ride on a road bike.
Requirements: helmet, weather appropriate clothing/sunscreen, working bike and your own spare inner tube/pump/puncture repair kit. Please also bring a lock if you have one and cash for the cafe.
