We're meeting up at a new start point for us, Rossington Community Swimming Pool which is on West End Lane - postcode DN11 0DU. Meet time is 10.30am with a view to setting off at 10.45am.

Heading out of Rossington via Stripe Road we'll veer off of this sometimes busy road to join Martin Lane (will entail a bit of cross filed riding or walking but not for too far) which is a quiet backwater lane into Bawtry where our liaison with the town will be pretty brief as we pint our wheels in the direction of Newington. From Newington we're going once more via a quiet loose surfaced lane to enter Misson at which point we will seek out our pub stop if you're ready for it at the Angel. Once we've refreshed ourselves we're back onto more quiet back lanes as we head for Misson Springs and beyond, picking up eventually the road to Blaxton, Auckley and Branton, taking the road to the rear entry for the Wildlife Park, then ts on to Hayfield Lakes (and there's a pub there too you know!) before we wend our way through Rossington back to the start. In all this is a 20 mile route with ample options for refreshing rest stops if desired, and its also predominantly flat. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ IMPORTANT INFO FOR PARTICIPANTS! Make sure you wear your helmet (this is compulsory, if you have no helmet you wont be able to ride with us) and appropriate clothing for the weather (if you have any bright or hi-viz then wear that). As usual we do expect you to have ensured your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre ride checks; you should also carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump, and tools to enable you to change a tube if necessary. Dont forget too to bring money for refreshments and a mobile 'phone.
