Frenchwood Recreation Ground

This four mile ramble explores the wooded surroundings of the River Ribble, south of Preston. Starting and finishing at Avenham Park Pavilion, it's a circular route on traffic-free shale paths, making it a family-friendly ride and ideal for novices. No ride is complete without a cake stop, and it just so happens that there's an excellent tea shop en route. If you have ever wanted to explore the Ribble by bike, then here's your chance!
