A gentle but longer ride with some inclines, using towing paths and urban cycle ways, from Erdington to Cadbury World. Ideal for ladies who like chocolate and cycling!
Meeting at Pype Hayes car park we will join the Birmingham and Fazeley canal at Hansons Bridge and then follow the towing path up to Birmingham city centre. Stopping for refreshments and a comfort break as we cross the city, we will then go on, via the Worcester and Birmingham canal to the home of chocolate – Cadburys World in Bournville.
Helmets not obligatory but advisable. Lock, for when we stop, and shower cap in case it rains (for the saddle) recommended.
