An exciting ride to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee and Bike Week 2022, followed by a cafe stop at the lovely Teapi Tea House. We will meander around lower Rivi before heading up toward the top barn and crossing the infamous Sheephouse Lane cycling on the undulating lanes before arriving on the canal path at Limbrick.
Heading back, we follow the Leeds-Liverpool canal until we stop for light refreshments at our cafe. When we head back, there are just a couple of slight inclines on the return journey.
Please note, that we will be cycling on one major road, Bolton road, before turning back into Rivington.

You need to arrive 10 minutes before the start time to allow for a bike safety check and ride briefing. Helmets are needed to join this ride and a roadworthy bike. Please bring a spare inner tube to fit your bike, pump and lock for use at the café stop. If you are not already a member of Horwich Ride Social then please email [email protected] for a new participants form.
