Starting point

Leicestershire
LE65 1RE

This is a great traffic free off-road route which uses the Cloud trail following the disused Derby, Melbourne and Ashby branch railway from Worthington and Cloud quarry. On this scenic route between Leicestershire and Derbyshire, watch out for the sculptures, the house that was once on Platform Two and the views from the bridge over the river. There's so much to see on this 10 mile route that you'll definitely be back for more!

The entire route is traffic free and takes place mainly on hard surfaces. Depending on recent weather there may me a few places under the tress that have small amounts of mud.

We aim to stop at the half way point on the bridge over the river Trent for refreshments. Please bring your own food and drinks as there are no cafes on the route.

All riders under 18 must wear a helmet and we advise all adults to wear a helmet. Please bring any tools you require to fix your bike, a spare inner tube, puncture repair kit, and hand sanitiser.

First-timers welcome!
