Starting point

Merseyside
WA11 7TA

Starting from one of our usual points just off the Rainford bypass , we head over to Burscough using some of our popular routes and out towards Southport . We will stop for fish and chips in Southport before heading out to Cheshire lines , we will then head out over Clieves hill area crossing over the A59 and round the back of Ormskirk / Simonswood before returning back to the start . A nice almost 38 mile route with a little climb towards the end for good measure !!
Please note , all the FCs Saturday Club ride socials are run to British Cycling guided ride ratios with trained leaders and also a first aid trained rider too , worth checking when you sign up to your next ride social , as anyone can put rides on , theres lots who have no training whatsoever !
