This is a reconnaissance ride for the 2018 Christmas Day Ride.

We meet at the Southwark Needle at 9.30am and cycle round the refurbished London Bridge Station and pass thorough some Dickens territory on our way to the Imperial War Museum and Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens in Lambeth. We then circumnavigate the new moated American Embassy and cycle through the Battersea Power Station development site. We then continue through Battersea Park and along the south bank of the Thames to Putney where we stop off at the Duke's Head for a drink.

We then cross the Thames at Putney Bridge and cycle though Brompton Cemetery and Hyde Park to reach Esgeware Road,

Distance of the ride: 24 miles (one way to Edgware Road).
